The role
Two postdocs on the project's multi-omic analyses: why individuals age differently, using cross-sectional and longitudinal data from many tissues of the Cayo Santiago macaques. The focus follows the person, from single-cell and chromatin data to biological-age and mortality models, or the informatics behind reproducible analyses.
What the work covers
- Integrating multi-tissue, longitudinal omic data (DNA methylation, RNA-seq, snRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, metabolomics, proteomics) with behaviour, physiology and survival
- Reproducible workflows for QC, normalisation and analysis
- Tissue-specific, longitudinal and mortality models
- Papers, preprints and documented code, with CayoHub's informatics team
What they're looking for
- PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent in genomics, computational biology, statistics, data science or a related field by the start date
- Analysing high-dimensional biological data in R, Python or similar
- Version control and the command line
- Clear writing and speaking
